Another context image to provide a sense of scale.
Taking photos of large art can be difficult sometimes, because the details get so easily lost in a digital format. It can be hard to show how significantly large the pieces can be, not to mention obtaining color accuracy with digital imagery.
This is "Landscape in Blue and Green" in context, so one can get an idea of scale. This last year has been a challenge for all of us, but art-wise, things have gone well for me. It was a nice change after a long doldrum of inactivity - prior to placing art in CLR MNSTR, the last time had time to focus on art and have it on display in a show or gallery was, as far as I can remember, 2008.
The Art for PAWS 2020 auction was a stand-out success for me as well. Thanks to these, and some wonderfully kind and supportive clients, I have been more productive this year than I have in ages. It may be considered uncouth to speak about sales, but there is a certain level of validity that comes with that - something I as an artist absolutely appreciated. To say it helped me get back on the horse is an understatement. I am excited about 2021 and all the opportunity it might bring! |
